hey everyone. 

okay well last night was the swim banquet and it was one of the greatest nights ever! i hadn't had that much fun in a while.  i was like 45 minutes late, but what's new right?  anyway we did awards and there were a ton of speeches and my coach kept crying. it was hilarious. i had a blast dancing w/ everyone and it was amazing to see everyone fully clothed. lol.  alec was going all crazy and when this slow song came on, he made me dance w/ him. it was pretty fun  but i'm pretty sure that vodka had something to do w/ it.  lol.  well i'm sad for jessica.  it was a long story.  but i had a lot of fun w/ her.

well now i have a world history essay to write!  woo i'm gonna have so much fun. mmkay i'll post again soon.

wow i can't believe sectionals is already over!  the season felt sooo short.  but maybe it's because i went to china for 3 whole weeks!  i think that might be it...the meet was super fast and everyone except the gu girls swam good.  lol.  but i'm glad it's over because i just wanna start fresh again and forget that i can't swim anymore!i'm extra determined to make next season actually worth it.  but enough about swimming.

OMG i cannot believe how close the first day of school is.  and i barely even touched my summer reading!  page 75 baby! but i blame the whole thing on my slow reading skills.  or maybe i just hate reading.  or maybe i have ADD and i can't stay focused for more than 2 seconds.  one of those.anyway, i really need to go shopping for back to school clothes!  i think that's my favorite part of school starting. oh and speaking of school, i got a 5 on my AP music theory exam!!  i couldn't believe it because i didn't think i knew ANYTHING on the test.  that made me really happy.  i wonder what mcguire got...

hey everyone!  i haven't been on in ages but i saw jessica's and decided that it was about time for another post!  well...summer's been pretty good so far.  we went to china for 3 weeks which screwed over my swimming but it's okay! it was a blast.  sectionals is in about a week and i'm pretty excited for that.  we've been tapering and doing sprint stuff and brokens and all that which is EXHAUSTING.  but i'm feeling a lot better now then when i got back from china.  that was miserable. 

it was marine's b-day yesterday and we had a giant costco cake. it was mm..mm..good.  i can't believe that she's 17 already! it's really scary. next thing i know she's gonna be graduating and going to college and i'll be the only gu girl left in the nest.pretty sad.

well i have a ton of things to do and i'm kinda starting to stress out.  summer reading, virtual school, drug and alcohol class, and swimming and practicing cello.  it was my fault for putting it all off for so long.  gotta run.

today's practice was really fun.  we did easy stuff and turns and starts the whole time.  except i found out that i'm being taken off the A relay for the 200 medley at JOs.it's best for the relay though.  tough stuff.  but the A's gonna do awesome i'm sure.

okay i need katrina's phone number.  HELP!

so it turns out that the ecybermission presentation wasn't bad after all!  i just made up stuff and read directly off the powerpoint and i didn't have a clue what i was talking about but i guess it fooled ms. dalton.  lol.  yay!  that was stressing us out for like EVER!

the clearwater meet was this weekend.  omg on friday it took us 3 hours to get to the pool.  and i got there at like 5:30 PM when warp-up was at 4 PM.  so when we got there i basically had already given up on my swim 'cuz i thought i missed it but i got there, jumped in the 100 degree, 2 lane warm-up pool, and did a 200.  and then i did my 50 free and went really slow.  then the next day i did okay but i went to the beach w/ riley and samantha and mr. davis and my mom.  that was a blast.  the water was really cold and then the wind started blowing and we were freezing.  but the sand was gorgeous and white.  and  A SEAGULL ATTACKED ME!  it was so scary.  i was eating a muffin and they were kinda getting close and i was freaked out but not that alarmed.  then one pulled a fast one and swooped down from behind and stole my muffin.  lol.  it was a good muffin too.  and then we started naming seagulls after people on the swim team.  there was this really one kept coming close and riley kicked sand on it and it started gawking.  and riley was like it's really stupid and loud and annoying so he named it lysi.  then this other one was crazy so he named it amy.  and this other one was named shane for obvious reasons.  j/k.  we're so mean.  then my mom and i were supposed to leave that afternoon but we ended up staying another night in the bouchard's room 'cuz everyone convinced my mom.  lol.  it was a really fun meet altogether.

well scudder, katrina, brad, and i have the language arts project and i dunno what part i'm doing.  so i have no idea what to do.  oh well.  i'm gonna go eat ice cream.
